Cuidad De Dios!!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing excellent! Sorry it has been so long since I wrote an email. Haha, the mission has been crazy. A lot has happened since my last email. To be honest, I don't know where I left off, but I am glad to report all is well here in Lima, Peru. I have been learning a ton in these past couple of months and have come to know our Savior better every day. It has been such a blessing to see how our messages can really touch and change lives. I am so grateful to be part of this wonderful work. One of the greatest moments on my mission just happened this week. One of our friends we baptized in my first area just went through the temple this week. I was so grateful to be able to be there with her. Hermanita Rebecca is a great example of perseverance. She is 90 and has made the decision to be baptized and press forward with the most brilliant attitude. She is always sharing the peace of Christ in her life with everyone she talks to. Hello everyone, Sorry for not writing in so long! To be honest, I don't even know where I left off in the last email, but life is really good! This transfer has flown by. I am training Elder Rosario right now and opening two areas with him. We have been on the move. I have never been so busy in my life. It has been so cool to work with two wards and teach so many people who are progressing. I now have a little over six months in my mission and I have been learning a ton. The initiative to train has really helped me learn, grow, and take action. I would have never believed it, but my Spanish is starting to come along alright. It's not perfect, but I get around for sure. We have been seeing lots of miracles in our areas and are teaching a ton of people who are progressing, accepting the gospel in their lives, and being blessed. One thing I have been learning is how to rely on the Lord. And not just because it's something good, but completely necessary. We need Him involved in...

Surprise Transfer

Wow, what a week! I don't have a ton of time, so this will be short, but quite a lot happened. First and most surprising is that I got emergency transferred and am now training. This is crazy because just 4 weeks ago I was training, but it's all good. My companion and I have 4 weeks in the field, and we are opening an area. It has really opened up my Spanish abilities because now it is very much obligatory. But we are doing great and spent this week finding lots of people to teach and invite. The sad part is I had to leave Rimac and leave the district with Elder Smith and Elder Morales. This was sad, but that's just how it goes on the mission. We also had a baptism this week of a Hermana that was receiving lessons for years and had never been baptized. We extended the invitation a while back, and now she is a very strong member of the church. She was baptized and received the Holy Ghost to accompany her through tough moments. I learned from this that we need to always be in...
